Help IRSF win $250K for crucial funding for Rett syndrome research in support of the Research to Reality Campaign for our Rett angels. In less than 48 hours, at 12:01AM on Wednesday 9/1, Pepsi will award $250,000 to the top two causes. The competition is FIERCE! Rett syndrome, a neuro-developmental disorder primarily effecting girls, causes problems in the brain responsible for cognitive, sensory, emotional, motor & autonomic function. Symptoms appear after 6-18 months of seemingly normal development, when there is a slowing or stagnation of skills. A period of regression follows causing problems with learning, speech, sensory sensations, mood, seizures, difficulty breathing and even trouble with chewing, swallowing and digestion. It is believed that there are thousands of undiagnosed girls and women world-wide.

The mission of IRSF is to fund research for treatments and a cure for Rett syndrome while enhancing the overall quality of life for those living with Rett syndrome by providing information, programs and services.
